The new Premium Edition range from SWISSCAVE - built in unit with a capacity of 94-101 Bordeaux bottles. Featuring a double glazed UV resistant door with the option to add an additional black handle, this unit looks great as a freestanding or when built into kitchen units.
Providing an atmosphere that turns your wine cooler into a masterpiece. Features high-grade, natural Sapele (Mahogany) wood racks, as well as subtle (adjustable) lighting throughout the cabinet.
All racks from top to bottom are illuminated in light which makes the wine cabinet a visual magnet. No additional lighting is required to read the labels on the bottles on the presentation racks (where the bottles are in a slightly tilted position) or the extended flat racks.
Swisscave Classic Vs. Swisscave Premium
Swisscave divides their wine coolers into the Classic and the Premium range. Both are high quality, reliable units but there are a few features available on the Premium range, which differ from the Classic.
The main thing to consider is the aesthetic differences between the two ranges. Premium models allow you to choose between white, blue and amber lighting which is featured down the sides of the cabinet, allowing each shelf to be highlighted. The Classic range however only features blue lighting from the ceiling.
Another feature to note between the ranges is the difference in shelving. Premium models are fitted with up to 14 shelves in beech or dark sapele wood. Swisscave Premium models also have variations of shelving which will allow you house a variety of bordeaux/burgundy bottles (normally a 50/50 split on the overall capacity). However, the Classic ranges are fitted with a lower number of shelves, in beech wood only and catered for Bordeaux bottles as standard.
Swisscaves Premium models are also fitted with quieter, more efficient internal quality components. Both the Classic and Premium models are handle-less as standard, but have the option to add different coloured handles if required.

Premium Edition
With a wide operating temperature range of 5-20°C this unit is perfect for use as a service wine cooler or it can also be utilised as a long term storage unit for your collection since it has a charcoal filter. With 2 temperature zones you can use the upper zone (warmer) for storage and lower zone (cooler) for service temperatures or both zones for serving temperatures.
The Premium edition from Swisscave offers a precious black stainless steel frame rim with a lock - you have the option to remove the handle or add display shelves and your wines will look great whilst being stored correctly.
14 pull-out mahogany shelves with attractive grip bars that add a touch of class to the wine cooler and is something different in the wine cooler industry. The interior is also lit up by LED's which are also mounted on the side walls to ensure you can see every layer of bottles easily.
The compressor is a highly efficient, high quality Embraco compressor which can adjust the speed it is running at depending on the demand for cooler air in the cabinet - this makes the new Swisscave units highly efficient and really quiet in operation.

What bottles will the WLI-460DF hold?
Swisscave products are designed around Bordeaux bottle of a length of up to 30-31cm and diameter of 7.5-8cm. The WLI-460DF has space for oversized bottles i.e Magnums on the bottom shelf. Mixed shape bottles will reduce the overall capacity to 94.
Ventilation and Install requirements:
The WLI-460DF is designed as a built in unit, designed for in column use. Usually an integrated wine cooler requires additional ventilation requirements however, the new Premium line from Swisscave now has its own in built ventilation system so it is as simple as sliding the wine cooler into a housing and leaving it to it.

Delivery FAQs
We aim to deliver stock items in 2-3 weeks as we transfer goods to the NI depot every 1-2 weeks.
Once the goods are transferred, our logistics will be in touch to confirm a delivery date. Please note, delivery lead time can be extended upto 5 weeks. Please contact us directly so we can advise further.
Unfortunately, this service is not currently available in Northern Ireland and Republic or Ireland.
Delivery will be between 8 and 6pm Monday - Friday, the driver will call the recipient before delivery. An ETA will be given on the morning of delivery via email or SMS.
Yes, that wouldn't be a problem - for stock items we would store them in our warehouse for upto a couple of months. For non stock wine coolers, we would ensure they are ordered and ready for you when you require delivery. We will always try our best to accommodate you.
Yes, the majority of our units are delivered from our UK warehouse - the cost varies between €39-€69 depending on the size of the item ordered.
Please note if you choose the 2 person delivery service, the lead time will be longer (up to 4 weeks) as we deliver the units into our 2 person logistics provider based in Northern Ireland.
If your wine cooler arrives damaged or you are unhappy with the quality of the item, please contact us immediately when the crew are still on site.
If you cancel your order and the goods are still in our warehouse, then there will be no charge - if you cancel your order when the goods have left our warehouse and collected by our courier, we will deduct the cost of the delivery from the refund. As an indication, the cost of this will vary depending on the size of the unit and will be in the range of £75 to £145+VAT.
We strongly advise you check the dimensions of the product before ordering, some of our products are ordered in especially for this order and means the order cannot be cancelled once the goods have been collected.
